10 Interesting facts about recycling

There is sometimes confusion among the public regarding the various aspects of the cycle. We at Alon Group tried to do some order for you and reveal for you 10 interesting facts about the cycle:

  • Recycling is a process designed to enable additional use, recycling, materials and various products by dismantling and processing them into new products. Among the most popular materials for recycling are paper, textiles, cartons, cans and bottles (glass and plastic), various types of metals, electrical appliances and electronic waste.
  • In the State of Israel, there are two main laws that promote recycling: the Deposit Law of 1999, which requires the return of deposit fees for bottles and cans marked “must deposit”. The second law is the recycling of electronic waste from 2013, which is intended to increase the collection of electrical appliances and electronic waste and transfer them to the recycling center.
  • The great advantage in circulation is FREE! Whether you are a town manager, a business house can be obtained from collection containers from the local recycling center nearest you and of course without any cost. In addition, recycling can be done in your own home by simply separating the types of waste and transferring them to designated containers.
  • The recycling process also rewards the guards. Collection of bottles with the deposit label to the author or recycling center entitles the deposit to cash or credit vouchers. Recycling of electrical appliances, electronic waste or various metal parts also entitles you to pay.
  • The plastic bottles undergo a thorough crushing process and are shredded to the point of tiny plastic flakes that are later used for egg molds, clothing, blankets made of brass, and so on.
  • Drinking cans, on the other hand, are not collected in designated containers, but can be transferred centrally to businesses such as the supermarket, the grocery store or the local recycling center, in exchange for a deposit, of course.
  • Today, it is possible to recycle almost any metal from iron and copper to stainless steel, aluminum, etc. … Almost any old or broken electrical product will be welcome, whether it is a spoon or a pan, to cars or other electronic devices.
  • As a result of the relatively new law from 2013, the recycling of consumer electronics is likely to become much more accessible to us – all of us. The recycling centers will make it easier for citizens to dispose of their electrical appliances.
  • The recycling center also provides liquidation and disposal services in cases of metal proliferation or when separate parts of electrical equipment are required. These services are called “dismantling factories” and are provided by the recycling center that also purchases the various metals in the site and also assists in the professional and responsible evacuation of all the equipment.
  • The cycle revolution has already begun globally and we are all invited to it by sorting the waste into the appropriate containers or transferring it to the various recycling centers. The recycling center, like that of the Alon Group, is designed to collect, sort and remove the variety of materials that are supposed to be reworked or reused. In addition, each consumer or business is invited to come to the recycling center with cans and bottles with a deposit label, parts of metals (or integrity), electrical appliances and electronic waste, and to receive immediate and cash compensation.
